The Eleventh Annual General Meeting of APBEN Ltd. was held on Friday 26 September 2008 at 11.30 a.m. in the premises of Vikas Maitri. The AGM was chaired by the Company Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Dominic Bara. The other Board Members, Mr. Sukhair Munda and Miss Roseline Kujur were also present. Among other things the financial reports ending 31 March 2008 were presented and passed by the shareholders. Mr. Sukhair Munda was re-elected Director for the next three years. The appointment of Miss Roseline Kujur on the resignation of Mr. Anjor Kullu for his term was approved. Mr. Dominic Bara presented the Annual Report of the Company. In his report he said the Company has made much progress in its business and there is much scope for further expansion of business in future. He highlighted that the Company had been prompt in paying handsome interest rates to its member depositors from the beginning. The focus this year was in involving a large number of youth in the actual business and thus earning income for themselves. Attractive schemes were developed to boost family saving by members. The meeting ended with vote of thanks from Mr. Sukhair Munda. |
